Tips:
For a healthier environment, the Institute of
Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification
(IICRC) recommends the following:
1.
Vacuum frequently. A vacuum cleaner with
a high-efficiency filtration bag removes soil
and biocontaminants from the carpet and the upholstery.
In addition, reduces the release of restorable
particles into the air.
2.
Periodically have carpet and upholstery professionally
cleaned. Thorough cleaning removes soils and pollutants
to improve indoor air quality.
3.
Control the sources. Entrance mats at every outdoor
entrance halt traced-in soil contaminants.
4.
Increase fresh airflow. Our ancestors knew what
they were doing when they opened windows to air
our buildings.
5.
Clean for health. Carpet and upholstery fabric
hide soil and dustmites. Do not clean only for
appearance - clean before the accumulation
of soil becomes visible.
